This cousrse will introduce students to Visual Basic.Net programming. The students will taught using application driven approach which provides step by step instructions for creating and interacting with useful, real world computer applications. The topics that will be covered will be computers, the internet and Visual Basic.Net, Visual programming. Then the course covers topics about variable, memory concepts, arithmetic, algorithms, and pseudo code and program control. Procedures and sub procedures are used with scope for pass by reference and option strict. One dimensional array and two dimentional arrays topics are covered with building classes and objects. Keyboard events, menus, dialogs with string processing and sequential access files are also taught. The students are provided with seminars presentations and labs and they will do lab programming assignments.
